Win a holiday at travel roadshow

Meet Glenton Holidays at Ramsay Travel in The Postings on 23rd February

Kirkcaldy travel agency Ramsay Travel is teaming with coach holidays specialist Glenton Holidays to hold a roadshow on 23rd February with great prizes up for grabs.

Shoppers in the Postings Shopping Centre, Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, will have the chance to win a Warners holiday, as well as discount vouchers for other breaks.

They will also be able to chat to agency staff about holiday plans over a cuppa.

The roadshow will be held at Ramsay Travel’s agency in the Postings Shopping Centre, between 10am and 4pm.
Staff from Glenton Holidays will be on a stand by the agency, handing out brochures, goody bags and special offer leaflets.
Glenton’s distinctive Scottie dog mascot will also be distributing discount vouchers to the public, and a ‘Spot the Dog’ competition will offer discount vouchers as prizes.

Bruce Lamond, Ramsay Travel company director, said: “This roadshow plan is a great way for us to meet lots of current customers and woo potential new clients.

“As one of Scotland’s largest independent travel agencies, we are delighted to be working with a fast-growing Scottish brand like Glenton, and are pleased that Glenton are supporting agents.

“We are also keen to work with a coaching specialist - a report from the Post Office last week tipped coach holidays as one part of the travel industry that would do well in the current climate as holidaymakers know in advance what their outlay will be.

“A recent survey by the Confederation of Passenger Transport also said there would be a boom in coach tourism in the UK as budgets for overseas travel are being cut.”

The initiative is part of a drive by Glenton Holidays to develop closer links with travel agents as the operator expands in Scotland and North East England.
